best hotel in mérida :)) they were very accommodating of my cleaning requests and i had great conversations with the staff. they also gave me tips on places to visit and how to navigate around the city. pool is nice as well, the energy here is simply divine

I stayed in this hotel first time in 1978 (Hotel Janeiro so named at that time) and again in 2004. This hotel has special meaning for me. I always will come back to this hotel to stay no matter what it looks like and I feel so sad every time I look at it. It brings back all those memories good and bad about my past life. I wish I could talk to my old friend, the owner of Farmacia Victoria, Julio Sosa R. who passed away shortly before I came to Merida in 2004, again. I will come back to Merida and stay in this hotel the very last time before I die.

Very nice pool, friendly and helpful staff. Room was well furnished with a desk large closet area with places to set luggage. Bath towels were rather small and bedsheets not a high quality. INTERNET: had room closest to the office, expected stable internet, but it kept glitching out, very difficult to accomplish anything online.

It is a nice hotel. It was cheap, quite, not any noise. The internet speed was fast and reliable and you can work in the lobby. Better than any other 4-5 stars and mrle expensive hotels. I have no any complain, the pressure of the water is good, they provide hot water the whole time, it's quite clean, they clean everyday and provide clean towels and nee soap and shampoo everyday. They don't provide water but you can buy water or noodles or cookies in the lobby. They are in front of the Yucatan music museum so you can go there everyday to listen traditional music. They staff is super friendly and they will always help you with anything you need, they can tell you how to arrive everywhere. They have a parking lot and a swimming pool.
